The Final Day of SGMUN 2024
Sunday, December 8th marked the grand conclusion of the St. Gallen Model United Nations Conference 2024 (SGMUN24). The final day began on a high note with a collective breakfast, setting the stage for a day filled with dynamic debates, collaboration, and the passage of final Resolutions, Communiqués, and Directives. The energy was palpable as delegates engaged in their last rounds of negotiation, striving for consensus and leaving a lasting impression in their respective committees.
A Memorable Closing Ceremony
The day culminated in an inspiring Closing Ceremony held at the historic Kantonsratssaal. Delegates, staff, and participants gathered to celebrate the achievements and hard work that defined SGMUN24. The highlight of the ceremony was the keynote address delivered by our distinguished guest speaker, Claudia Brühwiler. Her powerful speech underscored the significance of youth engagement in tackling global challenges and reaffirmed the importance of the skills and connections fostered during this conference. We extend our heartfelt thanks to her for sharing her insights and inspiring all in attendance.
